Terms of Service
Last updated October 14, 2026
1. The agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Anton Novoselov, an individual based in Armenia who runs Mapled (“Mapled”, “we”, “us”), for the use of Mapled: the app at app.mapled.io, the Mapled API, the delivery of content to your sites, and the Mapled SDK, CLI and MCP server (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Mapled for a company or a client, you accept them for that company too and confirm you may do so.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mapled.
2. The Service
Mapled is a hosted content management system for websites, including websites built with AI agents. You create projects, describe their content in collections and fields, edit records and files, publish releases that your sites read through the Mapled API, collect form submissions and manage the people who sign in to your sites. We keep improving Mapled, so features may change. If we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you before it happens.
3. Your account
- Give us a real email address and keep it current: we use it for security notices and for anything that needs your decision.
- Keep your password, two-factor codes, server keys and agent connections safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account and with the keys and connections you create.
- Tell us at support@mapled.io as soon as you think someone else has access to your account.
4. Projects, teams and handoff
Every project has one owner. The owner invites members as editors or viewers, decides who can do what, and can delete the project. Changing a project’s structure — collections, fields, bindings — needs an active builder plan; editing content does not.
An owner can hand a project off to another Mapled account, for example to the client the site was built for. When the new owner accepts, they control the project and the previous owner becomes a viewer. The project keeps using the slot of the plan it was on, and whoever holds that slot keeps paying for it. The new owner edits, publishes and manages the content without paying.
5. AI agents
You can connect AI agents, such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, to your projects through the Mapled MCP server, the CLI or an approved connection. An agent acts with your permissions and on your behalf, and you are responsible for what it does. Mapled asks a person to confirm changes that delete content or break a site, and setup plans apply only after you approve them; review them before you do. What an agent reads from Mapled goes to that agent and its provider, under your agreement with them.
6. Plans and payment
Mapled has a Free plan and paid plans — Pro and Max, monthly or yearly — with extra project slots and extra member seats on top. Current prices and what each plan includes are on the Plans page in the app.
- Polar is the merchant of record for all Mapled purchases: you buy subscriptions from Polar, which charges you, issues receipts and handles taxes and refunds. Polar’s terms apply to the purchase. Taxes are added to the price where they apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app; the plan stays until the end of the period you paid for and then becomes Free.
- When you change plans, slots or seats in the middle of a period, the difference is charged or credited right away.
- If a payment fails, we email you and Polar retries it; your projects keep working. If the subscription ends, your account moves to Free.
- Payments are not refundable for the part of a period you have already started, unless Polar’s terms or the law where you live say otherwise.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal after we tell you, and you can cancel before it does.
7. Limits and fair use
Each plan has limits per project: storage for files, form submissions per month, members, traffic to your sites per month, and how long record history and Trash are kept. Mapled does not charge for going over a limit. Instead:
- uploads past the storage limit and form submissions past the monthly limit are refused until you upgrade or, for submissions, until the next month;
- past the traffic limit we email you, your sites keep working, and if traffic is still over the limit 7 days later, new releases wait until you upgrade or the next month starts;
- if you have more active projects than your plan’s slots, for example after a downgrade, the newest ones get 14 days’ notice and are then archived: taken off the web and frozen, with all content, files and releases kept. Giving an archived project a slot brings it back.
We may also slow down or stop requests that put the Service or other customers at risk.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you put into Mapled. You give us permission to store, copy, process and serve it only as needed to run the Service for you — for example to publish it to your sites, make image sizes and back it up. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies in backups until they expire.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it. When your sites collect personal data through Mapled — form submissions, accounts of your site’s users — you decide what is collected and why, you are responsible to those people, and we process that data only on your behalf, as our Privacy Policy describes.
9. Acceptable use
Don’t use Mapled to:
- break the law or anyone’s rights, including copyright and privacy;
- host or spread malware, phishing pages, or content that exploits children;
- send spam through forms, workflows or emails sent in your project’s name;
- attack, probe or overload Mapled or anyone else, including through webhooks, data sources or the preview proxy;
- get around plan limits, security checks or another person’s access;
- collect data about people without a lawful reason.
10. Locking and ending accounts
If an account breaks these Terms, puts the Service or other people at risk, or the law requires it, we may lock it. A lock stops sign-in and disconnects its sessions and agents; projects and their content stay. We tell you by email and, where we can, give you a chance to fix the problem first. A lock for good also cancels the account’s subscriptions at once, without a refund for the rest of the period.
You can stop using Mapled at any time. To delete your account, hand off or delete the projects you own, then use Delete account in Account settings. What happens to your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Deleting projects and getting your data
A deleted project can be recovered by its owner for 14 days; after that it is deleted with its files. Empty projects nobody has used for 12 months are deleted, after an email a month before. Account settings → Download my data gives you a copy of your personal data at any time. If you need a full copy of a project’s content, write to support@mapled.io.
12. Availability
We work to keep Mapled available and your data safe, and we keep backups. We don’t promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we don’t offer a service level agreement. Keep your own copies of content you can’t afford to lose.
13. Mapled packages
The Mapled SDK, CLI and MCP server are published on npm as @mapled packages under the MIT License, which governs your use of their code. Using them with the Service is subject to these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Mapled is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or the rights consumers have under the law where they live.
16. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these Terms, you will cover the reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
17. Changes to these Terms
When these Terms change, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters for your use of Mapled, we will email account owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Mapled after that, the new Terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes go to the courts of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim there.
19. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Mapled about the Service. If a part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to whoever takes over the Service, such as a company set up to run Mapled, and will tell you if we do.
